Korka

Korka reels were possibly made by Charles Livingston, Brisbane, Queensland in the late 1930’s. Most had a Ferguson styles pivot although there were a few smaller reels made with v-slot pivots The backs and the spools were made from Bakelite with ‘Korka’ moulded onto the back plate. They came in two sizes, 3 ½’’ and 4’’. Some of the smaller reels had brass back.
